This term, Primary 4’s have been learning about the Romans. We have been looking at life in Roman times, and comparing it to our own lives. We will be learning about the Romans across other curricular areas too, such as in maths where we will be looking at mosaics. In Literacy, we will be reading “The Owl who was afraid of the dark”. We will be using it to write recounts and improve our comprehension skills. We will continue to work on numeracy, focusing on numerals, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. P4B will be going swimming every Wednesday until 31st January. P4A will then have their turn after this!
We have also had the amazing opportunity to have Mr Smith in to work with Primary 4 to develop our spelling, reading and writing skills on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
