Primary 7 had a fantastic week away at School Camp just after the Easter Break. It was amazing to see so many learners pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and making some incredible memories! This term for literacy, we’re looking to continue on from our previous WW2 Topic and look at “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” for our class novel. We’ll be looking to use our inference skills to better understand the context in which the novel is written. In maths, we’ll be taking a focus on measurement and areas, as well as some data handling, alongside brushing up on key numeracy strategies in preparation for High School! Our topic will be looking towards the Scottish Government. Additionally, all the 7’s are incredibly excited to start planning our P7 Leavers assembly – while we don’t want to say too much about it yet, we’re very excited to see where the project takes us!
