ELC Update January 2024

We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We are looking forward to lots of new and exciting times as the new year goes on.

There will be some changes in our staff team in the near future. Unfortunately, Jayne Scott one of our Early Years

Practitioners will be leaving on the 2nb February and Eve Spasova will be leaving on the 7th February.  We would like to thank them both for their hard work they will both be greatly missed.

We wish them both good luck in their new posts.

The team will update you as new staff arrive.

 

ELC  Opening Times

Just to update everyone:-

Doors open Monday—Friday

8.30am

 

Children are collected at 2.45pm Monday—Thursday

Friday collection time is 12.15pm

Doors will not be opened before this unless arranged prior with the staff.

 

This allows the children to have learning time for their  complete day.

 

Fund Raising

A big thank you to everyone that came to our singing around the Christmas tree and in Scotmid.

We are very grateful for the donations we received. Our amazing little singers made the grand  total of £108.53!

 

Holidays

Our next school holidays are the 9th of February until the 19th of February.

 

Resources—Can you help?

We are looking for fabric, ribbons, scarves, unwanted cardboard boxes for junk modelling, small cars or trains, and  loose parts which include—buttons, wool, shells, pebbles, conkers or acorns.

 

Change of Clothes

Please make sure that your child has a full set of spare clothes including socks in their bags. If your child requires pull ups or wipes please pop them in their bag.
