To find out if your child is eligible for free school meals, please contact us for an application form.
All pupils in P1-5 are eligible for a free school meal.
ParentPay offers a more convenient way to pay for school meals, milk, breakfast club fees, trips, and much more online. The system also enables parents, including parents of children entitled to free school meals, to choose school meals online.
New pupils to the school will have a secure online account created for them and activation letters will be issued containing a unique username and password; you will be prompted to change these, and to keep them safe and secure. If you have more than one child at our school, or children at another ParentPay school, you can create one single account login for all your children regardless of which school they attend.
Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds a payment history for you to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away. Further information about ParentPay can be found by visiting their website, link below.
Special Diet
Midlothian Council recognise the need to provide special diets where required based on religious requirements, cultural/ethical reasons or on the basis of
medical conditions (as recommended by a doctor or dietician).
If your child requires a special diet then please request a Special Diet form from the school office. All completed forms or written requests should be returned to the school as soon as possible. In the case of a request based on a medical condition, a letter must be attached from a registered dietician or doctor, this is to ensure that special diets can be catered for in a safe manner in accordance with medical information.
